Au Pair Job in Aan de Weber Estate, Stellenbosch – Long-Term Position

We are looking for a mature, responsible and experienced Au Pair to join a family in Aan de Weber Estate, Stellenbosch on a long-term basis.

The ideal candidate will be confident working with a 7-year-old girl, able to manage strong-willed or tired behaviour with patience, and comfortable assisting with homework, school activities and afternoon routines.

Salary / Rate

R110 per hour

Mileage

R4.85 per kilometre

Afrikaans and/or English

Responsibilities

• Daily school pick-up
• Preparing afternoon snacks
• Assisting with homework
• Taking the child to dance and horse-riding activities
• Waiting during activities and transporting her home
• Planning fun and engaging activities at home
• Packing away toys and belongings
• Washing lunch boxes
• Tidying up after meals and playtime
• Providing a safe, positive and supportive environment

Special Information

• No general household duties are required.
• The family has a cleaner.
• The successful candidate must be mature, confident and comfortable managing challenging moods and boundaries.
• Holiday care may occasionally be required.
• The family is looking for someone interested in a long-term position.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children
• Mature, patient and responsible
• Confident handling strong-willed or tired children
• Valid driver’s licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Comfortable assisting with homework
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to commit to the required working hours on a long-term basis
