A family based in Brandwacht, Stellenbosch is looking for an experienced, organised, and caring Au Pair to assist with their 7-year-old daughter. The family is seeking a proactive candidate who can assist with childcare, homework, meal preparation, and light child-related household responsibilities while helping maintain a positive daily routine.

Responsibilities

• Collect the child from school and transport her to extracurricular activities.
• Assist with homework, school projects, and test preparation.
• Prepare healthy snacks and cook dinner daily.
• Complete weekly grocery shopping.
• Keep the kitchen tidy after meal preparation.
• Maintain the child’s bedroom, play areas, and cupboards.
• Plan fun, educational activities and outings.
• Assist with personal household arrangements when required.

Special Information

• Long-term position.
• Cooking is required Monday to Thursday.
• Occasional evening babysitting may be required.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and allergies is essential.
• Candidate must respect the family’s privacy and confidentiality.
• Active lifestyle preferred to assist with play and outings.

Requirements

• Previous experience with children of a similar age.
• Excellent cooking skills.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Patient, reliable, creative, and responsible.
• Flexible to work occasional additional hours when needed.
• First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.
